So I get my one ton axles under the K5 this weekend. In the rear Im running 56" springs, shackle flip, 6" shackles and a zero rate. The 56's are 6 leaf + overload turned upside down. They are all from a one ton minus the clamper leaf which is from the K5 pack. In the front TC Ez-ride springs with zero rate and ORD HD shackle kit. The truck seems really high. I figured I would have to still cut some fender but Im thinking I need to remove the zero rate. I dont thing the 56" pack will settle much as they are broke in springs already. Im thinking the TC fronts might settle in. Whats yalls thinking? Id rather cut a little fender and have a low COG then look like a mud truck. But dont want to take the time to remove zero rates then have to put them right back in after some driving. My truck is a 89 K5 Scottsdale with front seats and rear seat. No trim or flooring whatsoever. 350/SM465/NP241 so maybe its just alot lighter than most K5's.......?
