50th Anniversary of the K5 Blazer - BlazerBash 2018!!!

5 years away and the last 2 weeks will still be a mad rush to make it :doah: ......:haha:

Isnt it always that way?

I missed this post first time around but Im down for sure. **** maybe I'll have sami for the wife and we can both wheel by then. **** maybe I'll have all that and a tow rig and tow out. Who the hell knows! :thumb:

How awesome would 20 ...or 30 or more classic K rigs running down the highway together be  :pimp:  :woot: :pimp:
It would be a beautiful site for every gas station owner along the way!

Let's charter one of those double-decker car movers. What's the maximum height on one of those?

Maybe we can get Jenn and Marc to haul our junk?

Im seriously concidering making the trek from MD with the wife for this. Will probably tow the truck out if theres anything left of it by 2018.

I'm in!!! Hope to be done reading the Milliken book soon, then to start my new build. I will still end up in an all out last minute wrench fest the day before I have to leave!

I would love to say Ill make it by then but I change my mind too often and may have some get rich quick scheme that absorbs all my time and money by then so no commitments will be made.

Plus I would like to make it sooner.

I also just realized that while I don't have a blazer, my scout is a 69 so it would be 50 the same year:whistle:

Man I don't even know if I will be there that far in the future!

I heard the 2 guys who posted above are out....Rich is trading his K5 and fire truck toward a Jeep Liberty and Newoldscottsdale is deep into the ricer world now doing a Vtec swap in his crx project :doah:

I'm definetly making the trek for 18...I plan to drive the K512 (my K5 with a 12 valve :D) and explore some of the surrounding areas with my kids.

I heard its a nice pink liberty with all the options :sign9:

Please don't stab me relentlessly for saying this, but is there anything to do in Moab OTHER than wheeling?

I could be in to participate, but obviously not wheeling my K5. I guess I could bring my RZR and follow you guys around.:dunno:

Why do you think you can't wheel your K5? There are a lot of very mild trails you would love to drive on.

It's also right up the road from Arches.
