I would bet this is true, at least much easier to do and less time consuming so you can spend time on the trail and not the Road. Hell have them shipped into my families little place here in Western CO. and be 3 hours from Moab, I bet you could drive mostly dirt from here to there as well.

Could make for a fun drive down there for sure.

My place is still 6 or so 7 hours from Moab but if anyone wants to do this I could probably pick you up in Salt Lake bring ya back here and all drive down.

Jackson Hole is alot closer and can be cheaper sometimes.

But I got plenty of room for trucks.
