I'm sure Vic and the wife flew to MI, but the other guy that was with them drove this thing from CA, its a new 5.3 with their supercharger on it, and said it gave the engine about +120hp, and only lowered the mpg by .5.....IF you can keep your foot out of it!
I told Vic I put a RPM airgap on my car and picked up 3 tenths at the strip...his reply "Thats great, that's a pretty good intake"
He is a legend of hotrodding for sure!
The SC's are pretty cool the way they do them these days. That bypass valve makes for great MPG's while still giving great power when you just can't keep your foot out of the skinny pedal.
a pic of the rain on Fridays' drive to Warren, MI....I've never seen my car so dirty as it was when we got home....went through one area where construction was going on, and there was a lot of dirt dragged onto the road...so road grime wasn't bad enough, lets throw some dirt on it too...
Met Adam, and his buds in Muskegon...watched a couple dyno pulls...one from a badass 70 Chevelle....that thing bout launched off the dyno.
I'll be posting up some pics from Sunday when I get them sorted out.
We had 7 cars leave my area and head north to the powertour route on Sunday....my car, a Delorean, a 79 Camaro, a 2012 Camaro, a 2011 Challenger, a 2010 Vette with a Magnuson supercharger, and a 68 Camaro
a shot out my rearview:
In Muskegon, there were hotrods and cars everywhere you looked....
The LSX in the Suburban:
We sat on this hill and watched the endless line of cars going by...
That LSX 376 is a very cool engine, and the one I am seriously planning for the Camaro. Let's face it, LS9 is going to be about $33k all decked out, and I can do the 376 for about $12k. Very cool pics!

that is a badass engine.... would love to have one in the Vette!
The Edelbrock truck isn't even noticeable at idle, unfortunately that is the only rpm I heard it at.
Adam, I'm glad you got to some other areas, we didn't get around as much as I would have liked, my buddy Tony had a bum knee so our walking was limited.
