Gary got the assemblies finished over the weekend. Many many pictures of progress and the problems he ran into during assembly, and explanation of how each was made right. One in particular is GM specs .002-.008 end play on the bearing assemblies, but Gary builds them to a rotational spec with new bearings, so its only a few inch pounds to rotate the axleshaft. That requires parallel grinding the bearing spacer and trial fitting to achieve the desired rotational spec. Time consuming but perfection is the end result. Another is touching up the rotor to achieve minimal runout. The less runout the less chance for the Vette calipers to leak.
