64 Vette….Rebuild 2.0

Talked to Dave, they had to amputate. He’s selling the vette for an XKE. You know left hand driver, RH side of car or some nonsense

You know...I dunno.

Edit - looks like it's LH drive:

Well no deal on the Jag then.
I’ll just have them put a bionic arm on !
Left hand only typing sucks….like hunt and PECK….dont go mixing that up either!

But heres a quick lowdown on the day.

my daughter said the dock found some other issues in the joint that took a bit longer than he expected and it sounds like PT is on hold until evaluation of postop on the 21st so maybe be out of commission a bit longer than expected

Surgery Went well
Rotating cuff tear repaired
Bicep tendon repair
Bone spurs removed
Sounds like he was in there for an extra 20 minutes.
Nerve blocks are amazing!
Amazing what they can do these days!

Feeling good, per dr instructions start Percoset tonight, Advil if needed,
ice water circulation to be determined, need to check on that tomorrow.

daughter made tacos for dinner
Grandaughter is staying a couple days too, its great they can both be together a couple days, w me even better!

After the last year and a half, I’m more motivated now looking to get stuff done. You never know how many good days are left for ya!

Thanks for the support and chuckles brothers!

Good to hear. Take advantage of the time with family there to recover. You’ll be back swinging wrenches in no time.
I Hope so, I just gotta keep my right arm out of the work!

Its easy to spend money when your sitting around most of the day tied to a machine.

My girls are making food! Lasagna, breakfast casserole, white chicken chili, not sure what the extra sausage is for….mmmm

Idle time has resulted in spending money…
Going to up the game on my engine. Haven’t even taken the oil pan off the 327 “stroker” yet but, this box of goodies will make for better reliability and safety.
