I mean does the paint require a clear coat? Or is it just that shiny without the clear?

It's got a few imperfections I've seen, but I didn't plan on a show quality high $$$ paint job. Looks pretty good to me though

I stripped it to bare metal, masked it and whatever grunt work was needed. Family friend/ neighbour did the prep n paint in his spare time. He got out of bodywork a few years back, but said he'd do it for me.
It took a lot of work to get straight, the flat
Purple it was hid alot of things. But with some shaping, pulling, filling it came out pretty good.
It's not like these cars were perfect from
The factory, let alone the hacking the PO's had done to it.
