Ok, starting to go bat **** trying to figure out the best route for an injection friendly tank?
Would like to budget it at about $500 with stock reliability(internal pump) and good high angle fuel control.
Option A) Custom steel baffled tank with internal pump, vette filter/regulator (Pickup some ground clearance and an easy bolt on)
Option B) Stock tank modified to use an F-body ls1 pump (These have built in fuel baffle and regulator. Trying to find dimensions to see if this will fit my tank?)
Option C) Stock tank with modified stock pickup. Chop the metal pickup tube as high as I can. Install rubber hose with fuel sock on the end. (Rubber pickup hose will slosh around and follow the fuel) Drill out the cap for a return line and use an inline fuel pump, vette filter/regulator (Maybe an intank can be done?)
Option D) use a 87+ TBI tank. (This seems like the most work? Dumpster dive for a tank, need to modify the filler and pickup AND figure out how to mount the tank)

looks like the k5 wont have OD for a bit longer than expected... old motor should pay for it and hopefully with the right gears mpg wont be too bad.
