Is there a right way and a wrong way to put boggers on? i mean are they directional?

ray

they're directional...but some run the Claws the opposite direction. so who knows...

so where you gonna take this baby on her maiden voyage?

local dirt playgrounds we have around here. i'm gonna need some time to get used to her. but i hope her BIG debut will be at Katemcy.

have most of the steering done. just need to finish swapping in the temp steering shaft. i'll be ordering one new body mount since we toasted one while removing the driver side floor. hopefully also welding the new floors into place. then mounting the winch into place. & then bringing her back home to my parent's to hopefully start the 'cage.

Not trying to criticize, but in the second picture it kinda looks like the crossover drag link is on backwards. If yours isn't backwards, then maybe mine is! I'm pretty sure the bent end attaches to the steering box side which allows it to clear the oil pan. Maybe the d60's are different than the d44?

You sure could use an XJ steering shaft. :haha:

Its going out tommorow... I'm really sorry, i forgot all about it.

I just found them on page 7 in this LOOOOONG thread.
I wasn't aware H1s came in a W I D E version, heck I don't even remember what mine are:doah: 16.5x9.5 I think?? Do you remember?
I too have the 6x6 inserts and I am using their pressed centers as i didn't have the wide axels like you.
I thought it was a custom thing you had going on...

So you are litterally a "Wide Load" hahahaa:haha:

well the H1s were custom made...got 'em from a guy in Corpus Christi. 9.5 is the stock width. wide load...oh yea

Your truck is looking awesome. I've kinda lost hope in mine for the time being. So I'll just live vicariously through you:D

thanks...i'll do my best to keep you interested in the build. the best is yet to come.

started marking all the holes to be drilled on the 1/2" plate for the winch. i also marked the spots where i'm going to use 8-10 7/16" bolts to secure the 1/2" plate to the Sky Mfg x-member. I also got my Makovai Built XJ Shaft but been having some trouble getting it connected to the steering column. still trying to get around to the floors. hopefully i can have all of this done by this weekend. haven't done much lately, my mom had surgery & i had 4 wisdom teeth pulled last week. but progress will continue. i only have 4 more weeks until i start school & i want the 'cage started by that time.

here's what I got done yesterday. Put bolts on the spring clamps because when we did the test flex, the main leaf was the only one getting a work out & looked prone to snapping in half. also put in the temporary shaft, since i had some problems with the XJ conversion. and flipped my drag link so it'd clear the oil pan. the clearance between the tie rod and DL is about 1/2" :eek1: . we'll see how that works out. & finally a front pic...body's a bit saggy on the driver side because we're replacing the floor.
