Well managed to mount the winch last week. Used 1/2" steel. It's tied to the frame with one 5/8" grade 8 bolt and two 9/16" grade 8 bolts on each side. Then there's six 7/16" grade 8 bolts bolting it to the front spring x-member. My battery ran out tho, before I could snap pics of the winch actually mounted. All in all, I had to drill 14 holes. :shaking: But the holes in the plate were drilled by a local machine shop...having to drill 1/2" steel with a hand drill :barf: Also got it over to my buddy's shop CBC Offroad so we can start the 'cage hopefully some time this week. I'll get some more pics tomorrow.

After I graduate think I will plan something like your project only I don't think I could wait 4 yrs...I would go insane. very nice lo-max! and the look of the rear end is sweet
