An old truck needs a proper wheel. He did a good job at picking some tasteful for the truck.

Comin along nicely!Been a good while since I updated this thread, I let my membership expire last year and just recently re-upped it so here we go. In January of 2018 I bought a 454 out of a 1979 motorhome with 30k miles on it, got it installed that spring and running and driving, it is awesome, I also installed 3.73 gears and a posi in the axle. Does great burnouts and is pretty damn quick... But I was having problems fitting a mechanical fan and shroud since the engine was so close to the radiator. After 2 fan shrouds did not fit I basically said F it and ended up just running the clutch fan without the shroud. No bueno. It was fine as long as you were moving and didn't have to sit still for more than about 5 mins at a time. So for the last year and half I have not driven it all that much, mostly just short, run around town trips and going out to burn rubber, I was planning on moving the engine back to the second set of engine mount holes to allow room for a fan shroud but ultimately decided to go with electric fans. I am very happy with them and it was much easier than moving the engine back. They are dual fans from summit racing, believe they are basically a copy of SPAL. I am also running a champion aluminum radiator. Got them up and running today, they kick on at 185 and turn off at 175. Man, they move some air, it only takes about a minute and a half for them to kick off once they turn on. I have never had electric fans before but I am very pleased with them and as soon as it stops raining I can't wait to finally be able to enjoy the truck without worrying about it getting hot. Also installed a new Holley 750. Previously I was running a Holley 600 from the old 350 that was in the truck, but I had removed it over the summer to use on my k20, so the truck sat up until the other day, but she's back now!!! Now I can move on to fun stuff, next up is a cam and new exhaust system.
