nice!
DEAL OF THE DAY!
Decided that it was time for an upgrade from the old halogens. Figured I should do LED, but man, the cost. Started searching the interwebs and ran across the old Stylin Trucks website. Basic catalog stuff. They're being acquired, or have been, by JC Whitney. That says enough.
Anyway. They had JW Speaker 7" round 8700 J2s for $94. WHAT THE WHAT?! Best I found anywhere else was $400 at our very own OK 4WD (@swettysblazer). I called and checked with the customer service and, sure enough, $94 for a set of black ones (didn't want carbon fiber anyway). Figured it was worth the gamble and placed the order.
These showed up today. Mind you the only things in the box were the two headlights and a sticker. I assume that's all that's supposed to be in there. I do need to order a couple of H13 -> H4 adapters.

I'll post pics when I put them in.
I’m scared about how this will look..... but for $94 it was a risk worth taking.

There is a whole 4 year thread on tacomaworld about headlight upgrades. Half of it is in upgrading the wiring so you get full power to the lights but the rest focuses on the light pattern of many of the aftermarket lights and placing the light where it should be to benefit you and not blind oncoming drivers which is a problem with many of the aftermarket lights. With that said, for less than $100 I'd give them a shot. Curious to see the outcome. For reference here is the headlight thread, the OP knows what he is talking about, the wiring and part number stuff is pretty Tacoma specific but some really good information and adaptable to other applications.DEAL OF THE DAY!

Do you have an angle shot? They blend better than I thought they would.
I had to check, but JC Whitney must have sold out of them. Maybe they were clearing inventory.
