As far as time goes, He's no worse than me, I'm on my twentyth year, and still not finished. But, I didn't move to Austen

Just did flooring in my house. Had a HF air hammer - knocked up the tile no problem. Thinset I used a diamond cup. Knocked it down pretty damn easy... Spent ALOT more time cleaning up all the dust in the house afterwards. Even w/ 2 fans blowing through the house it was so bad I couldn't see the ceiling at times... Infact wife is cleaning concrete dust out of the pantry right now.. Almost done w/ that.. lol

If I had it to do again I'd probably just rent one of the wet grinders so it didn't make such a damn mess.

Did have to buy a hammer drill to get the tmolding and reducers mounted to the concrete. Tried drill w/ masonry bits - dead stop as soon as I hit the aggregate lol.

Many years ago I worked for a company that was remodeling a warehouse/office building for their paper embossing and cutting company, I had to sawcut & remove a fully grouted cinder block wall and grind all the floors to remove carpet glue, they wouldn’t let me used any water for dust control. I feel your pain on the concrete dust... I followed insect tracks in the resulting 1/4” deep dust and found a lot of desiccated roaches.... concrete dust is evil!
