This is the build description. I will improve this later. (GB)
he crossover pipe looks similar to Revision 1, but this time around it incorporates the 4" CLR tubing to make a sharper turn once it gets to the inside of the framerail.

It's amazing how long some of this stuff takes, especially when you have to restart every evening.

TRUTH.
Last night ended up being 4 hours. Didn't get to bed until well past midnight and didn't actually finish either. The fitment of the one small 4" CLR piece is still fighting me... it's the last of the 5 segments used to connect from the forward muffler to the rear resonator (the one that curls over the framerail). With all of those possible rotations and angles the end-point can end up slightly high, slightly left, slightly low or slightly right of where it needs to be... it can also end up out-of-square with the flange it needs to connect to (using those V-band clamps).
The one bit of good news in all of this is that I am able to make as much noise as I want with no apparent issues with Charlie sleeping directly above the garage space. The extra work to insulate and create a staggered-wall joist effect in the loft really decouples the space from the rest of the house. Keeping the rear man-door open about a foot, and cracking open the two rollup doors to keep fresh air circulating doesn't seem to allow any appreciable amount of noise into the neighborhood either. That's a huge win..... losing the ability to work at night would basically kill this project completely.

That's awesome. Noise is definitely a problem for me right now. My kids are younger (one still taking naps every day), and it's fairly easy for me to get shop time when he's napping or when they're in bed for the night. But their bedrooms are right over the garage, and so I have to do quiet work during those hours. Which is fine, there's plenty of that to do, but when I need to make noise- those hours can be hard to come by.

It took almost 9 hours.... time to move on.
Crossover tube took a lot of attempts, rotations and tweaks.
Final result. Same height, same angles, same landing spot....
Level....... enough.
Needs the final length of exhaust tubing out the rear corners, but that one is a LOT simpler to duplicate.
Finished just in time to celebrate the victory tonight (Martini Night)

Wow. It's amazing what skill and patience you have. I have low amounts of both and would have moved from "might as well" to "get it done" mode pretty quickly. Bravo dude. Great work as always.
2020.04.20 - MORE....
Sunday in the garage and well into the evening. The driver's side crossover tube was removed and tack-welded to allow the removal of all green tape and final installation.
90A Tack Weld at 1/2 second dwell at full-throttle... works like magic (60% of the time, it works every time)
Everything bolted back in with a lot of the blocking and other items removed. Position is perfect and everything bolts up nicely.
The final run of exhaust on the passenger side was tack welded and installed, and now only the driver's side final run remains. Most of the pieces for this have already been cut, smoothed and test-fitted so tonight it shouldn't take too long to get them into position and tacked together.
Ideally, you'll see a final photo of the complete front-to-back exhaust tomorrow.

Next up: Muffler hangers!!! Can't wait to remove all of the remaining wooden fixtures and see what it truly looks like. It kind of has that "Little House on the Prairie" vibe with all the lumber in there....

Yeah, I hear that. temp hangers/lumber do detract from the look you are going for. It's always a big step to cut that stuff away and get a good look at stuff.
Got the final section finessed into place, but ran out of time (and Argon) to weld up the final two segments.
Shhhh..... don't tell anyone, but I noticed last night that my rear axle is shifted 1/4" out on the driver's side.

Final tack welds completed last night....removed a bit of the lumber and cleaned up the blue sharpie markings for this final shot.
Next Up:
Ordered some small stainless hanger parts for the exhaust.
Started looking at nice clamp options for all the upcoming hard line installations
Started going back through my old notes to remember things like fuel line sizing, brake line sizing, air line sizing.
Need to buy SS hardline, and bending tools for various diameters.

That's the flaring tool.... I'm all set for flaring. I need a clean way to do the bending of the tubes without kinking them. I've seem some miniature-looking tubing benders (small wheel dies to form the tube around) that look interesting... different dies for 1/4", 5/16" 3/8" and 1/2" tube.

I just have one of the small handheld benders. I think it's a Blue Point. It does nice bends.

My only concern is that with stainless tubing (even annealed) it might be more of a struggle than with traditional mild steel tubing.
Not afraid of the extra work, but I don't want to waste a lot of time struggling with a bending tool that wasn't really meant to bend stainless either.

The Ridgid line of benders is my fave. Lots of leverage, and good radius selections.
