too bad Civic's are the modern day sheetmetal...
That's why its so popular to take all that new engine technology and swap it back into the better looking sheetmetal of yesteryear!too bad Civic's are the modern day sheetmetal...
Much better than when someone paints cast iron heads silver to look aluminum.

....True that!I've thought about that too....
- Terminator is the new Dominator
- Oval is the new Rectangle
- 500HP is the new 300HP...
It's crazy that 300HP used to be a solid, respectable number.... But the technology has gotten SO good and the costs have gotten so much cheaper that it seems like 500HP project vehicles are everywhere now!
Some people say they wish they could have been alive during the 60s muscle-car era...I don't think they even realize that we are living I the biggest horsepower-era EVER right now!

Heres the real question.
Are your headers going to fit with a raised exhaust port like the Brodix heads probably have?

Dont forget that going aluminum heads also means you need to raise compression by 2 points.
2 points is 14% more power. See, now you're getting even more out of this. Better buy those heads!

Not a "need" but you can get away with more...I'm not sure if that much compression is possible with those heads (unless I leave out the head gaskets completely).

So did you decide to stay with the current heads?
