Just a slider isn't enough to get the seat out of the way.
If you set them up so that riding position is all the way slid back... Might be enough, depending on the travel of sliders you get.

I forget that not all people are twigs......

Or contortionists...
With a fixed-back seat it's a tricky set of motions to get back there even under the best conditions.

Kids are good at small spaces.
Generally everybody ends up climbing my rear roll cage and hopping in the back seat that way because its more "fun".![]()
2. The passenger seat has a goofy "flip forward" feature which basically just smashes the seat into the dashboard without creating much ACTUAL room to climb into the backseat area. I know that Jeeps use a trickier system that allows the entire passenger seat to lift straight up.....then move forward (some kind of shackle-type system?) so that the entire seat gets a lot closer to the dash. This seems like it would provide MUCH better access through the passenger door for people to climb into the back area.![]()

What? No desire to make a seat mechanically fold itself into the floor to make ingress/ egress easier?
Geez

Unfortunately that doesn't work well either. The seat back leans back so rotating it around it would lean into the dash, meaning the seat portion would have to get MORE in the way for that to work. Not to mention it would mean no center console.More usefully, how about a captain's chair arrangement, where you pull a pin, and the seat rotates around a center post to face the rear? The seatback is then up by the dash, should give you much greater access to the back.

the MAW suspension lowback in houndstooth......

Yup, that is another requirement. It's got to be super simple to use. Unlatch and push. If I've got to pull and replace pins, or lift the seat out or any solution like that, I know I'd never use it either. To much of a pain in the ass for just moving the pass seat back and forth for entry, that is for sure.
