Went to the shop and added to the cage. Took longer than expected so didnt get much done. Also took some pics around the shop.

My love is the Baleigh Tube notcher that they have. Pretty much the best fab tool ever for a cage.

Also snapped some pics of the mini sandrail that is in progress. My dad and I have been messing with it for ages, the frame started with little a arms and a 465 2 stroke dirt bike motor, then got overhauled for what it is now. Powered by a 1300cc Hayabusa :P 18 inch planned travel. Finally got all of it were it needs to be, (hard part done)just need to make the real parts now/ Planned finish date is by haloween

:eek1::eek1::eek1::eek1: that shops ****ing awesome! Does your dad own it?

So when i took my old hardtop off i notice it was falling apart in the back were it connects. I was going to fix it, but found another top in way better shape for 50 bucks. So i was thinking what to do with the old one.

Got an idea in my head and grabbed the sawzall.

Cut it all down so it was just the windsheild header and the thinnest part on the top with the bars. Made some cheap little brackets off my cage and used some conduit for spacers. Used my buddies wonderful (ha) flux welder to zap the brackets on and threw it on top.

Came out really good i was surprised. Nice shade and it is very durable. Since it worked so well i will probably end up making brackets for each bow and maybe put a few cross peices and it will make a nice little deck.

neat idea. suits the truck very nicely man. i'm sure the shade helps with the heat while driving around too.

Been a while since i updated...

Took of rear bumper. It was cracked on the mounts and i didnt like it anyways.. Tube bumpers to follow soon.

Put my rear shocks back on, broke stock mounts off a while ago. boy i forgot how nice it is to not bounce all the time haha!

Welded the 14bolt up. Pulled spiders and welded into the orb of traction. Didnt like it at all at first, but used to it now and boy howdy the difference it makes offroad!

Was planning on going to prairie city today but damn place was closed so went down the road to a crappy spot to screw around. Pics to follow.

Side note..... I REALLY hate my stock steering. The last set of pics when im twisted up on those mounds, when i went forward on them my tires turned to the right and since it was slightly agled and weight on em i could turn left at all, not even at full lock.

I need to jump on crossover ASAP
