I see you even had enough money left over to buy some beer. Ain't life grand?
You got my vote.
Congrats on the promotion brother...
Now just one question, now that your the official Meat Man
When's the BBQ?I'll Bring the Scotch![]()
40s are fine on stock axleshafts, so are 42s. You will break the occasional hub with 42s but the shafts seem to hold up pretty good. 40s seem to not break much. I broke one hub in like 4 years of wheeling with 40s
If you ran 42s with 35 spline outers and drive flanges you really wouldn't break very often.
Your rig though I think I would stick with hubs though. Mine is trailer only now so once I can afford it I will be getting drive flanges.
I never noticed if you shaved your 14 bolt, if not do it an absolute must IMHO
Well decided to do the responsible (ie not fun) thing and use my extra income to pay off our credit card. So im just takin a small allowance in the meantime. Drove my buddies yota with dual cases and it had ne hooked.
Talking to my dad he sees no problem in making an adapter plate for a doubler so that may be coming soon. Ive been on the hunt for a 205.... But not much luck. Finding a ton of 10 spline ones, I can even get one for 50 bucks, but ive been reading you want 32 spline only. Hopefully I can find one for a reasonable price, or maybe change input shafts?
Its gonna be hard to snag a 60 right now so a doubler is gonna have to hold me over lol
Ord sells a conversion kit for the 10 spline to 32. its like 200 bucks.
Nice. Gotta borethecase for the larger bearing though. Good option to have though. Gonna scour local j yards for the unicorn 205 tommorow

i was just on northwest fabs website and they have new 10 and 27 spline adapters for use in their doubler kits.
came up with a super cheap solution for crossover steering since i didnt want to waste money on my d44.
Im in it about 60 bucks. Will post some pics tommorow weather permitting.

Z link?
Hope you don't end up on the scary steering page![]()
