A little late to the party but if it makes you feel better summit sells rollover vent valves pretty cheap also. I'm going weld a bung for one in my next tank and have the filler neck sealed

He's too busy hiding from the militiaWheres the progress pictures?
Hurry up so I can copy youI dont know lol. I put together my fuel lines today. Waiting on a few things to mount them.
Yeah you will go ding bang owBe careful going too low with the seat. It makes for a very awkward leg position on the pedals. That's where I've been the past few years. With my recent changes, OMG it's nice sitting with proper leg geometry.
Alright. I sat in the truck tonight. Not happy. I took the mount brackets off and it was a lot better. I'm a long ways from the cage for the most part, which is good.
I feel like I should be a little lower. I highly doubt I could mount it as low as it is now...I may have to cut the floor. ****in tall people problems.

One of the reasons I never did a cage in any reg cab truck. I couldn't get a seat in a comfortable position and still have room to clear a cage.
I'm only 6'3" ish
That seat is noticeably lower than the factory bench seat. I know you're strapped for height, but that's already messing with leg geometry, as already mentioned.
Well with no tank there it would be easy to cut that section of floor out.
I might try to do that on my crew cab and burb. Carpet becomes an issue thougb
