That's a lot of wire you got there.

Really nice quality. Labels every 6 inches!

No bottle of ibuprofen though lol. I figure if I get it mounted where I want and the wires done to make it run I'm happy for the moment. I can add the rest of the dumb stuff later. I have a few old harnesses I can salvage for their connectors to make things even easier. This unit is also set up for a gm column.

I managed to put this plug in last night lol. Big effort!

I also got an autometer oil pressure gauge so I started looking into getting that plumbed in.

I'm hoping to get the passenger side header on this weekend. I need to clearance the frame a little. I scoped out the exhaust last night and it's looking awesome. Probably going to tuck a pipe right between the bellhousing and trans.

Ok...explain the pulleys to me. It looks like you're NOT using the inside sheave (or you should have put that belt on first), and that water pump has an extra sheave that isn't in line with anything on the crank pulley. I'm a little confuzzled.

Inside belt runs the power steering mounted on the other side

Yeah bent72 got it.

Im not quite ready to do brake/steering lines yet so just focusing on getting water/power going for breaking in the engine.

So you're doing work that you'll later hafta undo? A'right, that makes more sense (even if that's not the way that I usually prefer to do things).

What's with the tiny pulley on the outside of the water pump?

That's to make it California legal.:haha::haha::haha: Smog pump!!!!!!

Yeah! Oddly enough it's the 45 inch belt for the smog pump but it magically fits my setup without one...

What is this "smog pump" you speak of? :pimp:

:haha:

Such an idiotic idea. Pumping air through the exhaust as a means of cleansing the output.

So happy to not deal with that shit ever again.
