Ball joints going in tomorrow
Nice...Amazon has a bunch of cheap seldom used tools, but I usually can’t wait so end up doing the same thing...Thanks, got tired of looking for the ball joint socket so I made my own from an old sparkplug socket

Thanks, if my homemade thing won't turn 70 ft lbs I'll check it outThe part number for that socket is
OTC 7080
OTC 7080?I sharpened up a $5 socket last time too. It barely made 2 sides
I'm hoping if I tell enough of you that part number, you will remember it for me
Ok, it’s your job to remember that number....OTC 7080?
Got it!
Although I bought a Moog T40207...
Yeah I'll buy one next time, spent a long time grinding my homemade tool down to drive those sleeves but it worked ok. I do like my new little tractor supply sandblast pot. Way more fun than the wire wheelOk, it’s your job to remember that number....
I agree...mine is an old 5 gal Campbell Hausfeld power blast but it sure does clean things up
I should just ship you mine as an advance on all the help i'm gonna needI need something like that
Agree, I wish I had found this site five years ago. The weathers ugly tomorrow so it's back to the blazer thenI’m glad you got out to enjoy life’s little crumbs...
You’ve missed out for too long on the Blazer, so it’s time to get her done.
I would plug weld it along with some 2” to 3” welds on the edges. If you have cracks in the frame, I would also grind those out & weld them first. Maybe search frame repair welding tooany specific method to welding up the steering box plate? i didn't find much on youtube and i am still trying to figure out how to find info through the forums on this site. it looks like im going to spend most of the day lining up and drilling the holes to bolt it up first
