Looks sweet! Cant wait to get up there when I get my new shitbox built. Is nick planning on doing the rubicon again with us?
Heck ya, I've been trying to get out almost weekly. Haha. I think nick will come, he is usually always down to take the truck out. We're trying to both make it to koh right now
Damn do these pics ever make me miss snow wheeling
The snow is crazy, this is the first season I've been out in a good amount of snow. It's a blast

Well I pulled the blazer into the garage to go over and my drive side kingpin felt a little wobbly. So I pulled off the high steer arm and the poly bushing was split by the plastic race. I think it will be time to upgrade to the bronze races.

Bronze is good but they also wear out. How long have you had those in there? I heard they usually only break from sudden impacts like jumping a curb at speed.

I replaced them right before the rubicon last year. I'm pretty sure I'm missing a little flat metal washer that goes between the plastic and poly after looking at the ORD website. And I don't think I had any extra parts leftover when I did the replacement. The bronze will just give me peace of mind that the front will be ready to rock.

I went out to the high lakes last week with a friend in his Fummins! It snowed Monday-Wednesday morning so there was quite a bit of fresh snow and we got to break trail most of the way. Right as we were getting to the snow on the road I heard something clunking around in the front by my feet and the bolt holding the driver shock had broken off, I knew it had been bent and was an allthread so I pulled the shock off and aired down and pressed on. When he started having trouble it was my turn to lead.

This is the most snow I have been in and it was a blast going through the fresh powder!

We made it to this dry lake and that took us about 5 or so hours and figured this was a good place to stop for the day because we were able to both turn around.

The snow was up to the bottom of my door sill and the dog was not buying that it was safe to jump out. haha

Turned around and heading out.

Almost to the pavement

The bronze will last you considerably longer with good kingpins and plenty of grease.

Awesome pics, I'm heading to the cabin this weekend.

Hey how do you like those strap O.S. handles? I'm about to order some, and noticed you have them.

Ya, I'm pretty stoked to get them and get the truck running again. Where is your cabin at again? Tahoe?

Are you talking about the grab handle? I didn't really care for them, I would like to make my own custom ones out of 550 cord. But they work great for the price you can't beat them

I'm not sure if they are the ones ruffstuff sells. They are smitty built and seem to work fine. I only have one on the passenger side
