I think more people would do it if the steering shaft werent right in the way. Not a huge issue but I know it is one of the factors keeping me from converting to a 3 link.

@brokenparts everything seemed to be in the way. But that was an issue. It's got a weird linkage set up now and most people don't stay with the mechanical steering and highsteer

@bmxbryant9 How soon do you expect to be back on the trail? Also, what trail are you planning on using to test it out?

That'd be sweet. I'll most likely do a shake down run to the highlakes with @skunked once it's done. A Rubicon run would be sweet if the weather holds out

I hear you on that. I'm in the process of getting an '84 K5. I already have front and rear axles, an engine, transmission, and transfer case. I just need a few miscellaneous parts and once I get the Blazer, I'll work as quickly as I can to build it so I can possibly do a shakedown run with you.

Heard its narrow and they have a narrow gate you must be able to pass through to access the trail. I want to say it's 82"? Just opened a few weeks ago, I've never ran it.

@bmxbryant9 I'll keep you posted on the progress either on here or Facebook. As far as Barrett goes, I've heard that it's not fullsize rig friendly. But remember, the Rubicon is my back yard.
