That’s should be May 2019 right there

The easy fix is to box it and run it.

Only some what issue is it is almost inline with the motor mount and the old shock mount is boxed in less than 6" from the motor mount. Dude thanks for telling me about the album! Those pictures are awesome!

There is a hole at the end of it

I think he means the other end too.

Take a pic from the other side when you get a chance. I’m sure we can come up with some ideas to hold you over for the summer.

You got everything at your place down here you need to fix it?

Not really. No welder or tools to really fix the frame issue but I can do most of the mechanical work. I have a friend that has a welder I might be able to use but I'm not sure yet.

I'll snap a picture tomorrow

mmm fun. The plate toward the cab (left in the photo) is that some sort of frame boxing that was done?

Yes, it was pretty much to raise the old shock mount up to the top part of the frame but is now in the way

Hey Jake do you have a good pair of wire crimpers or experience soldering wires?
I've got some of these, borrowed, that you can use. I have soldered before, and have the stuff if you'd rather go that route.

Also talked to my neighbor to see if I could borrow his welder, but he said don't plug it in to less than 40amp breaker and I only have a 30. He did say, if you just wanted to weld the crack up, we can just bring it down to his place and do it. He's a car guy and mechanic here in town, and pretty chill about it, so let's do that if it works for you.

What tool would you guys recommend for cutting the hard top? Sawzall, skill saw, jigsaw, cut off wheel?

I would probably go at it with a sawzall to start. Skil would make a lot of dust but might make a cleaner cut. How pretty do these cuts need to be?
