Anyone know where I can find NOS or used but operable 4-position AC fan/blower switch for a '75 K5?

All new parts on line have the 4-terminal on the back, but I am looking to replace with the original 5-terminal type. (5th terminal is common ground, but I would rather not splice the old leads.)

Thank you!

Thank you '74!! Last time I looked (and it was a while ago) nothing turned up. $40 I might do. Know what the difference is between the 407 an 408?

407 3 terminal switch don’t know.
The 4 terminal switch will work but not in the same manner as the 5 terminal except....
The only difference is that fifth terminal is for the single orange wire coming off the selector that causes the blower to default to high whenever the temp selector is placed in full cold (max) regardless of fan switch position.
That’s all it does.
I prefer to be able to control the blower at all times so I leave the extra orange wire off on my 74.
78 I believe they did away with the extra wire.

Thank you '74!!

That is great info! After all of my digging, that make sense, and I agree that it's much nicer to maintain at all levels.

Quite a bit cheaper for the 4 term 469368, unless you want originality.

This is also great (assuming it's operational)! The cheapest I could find for the new cheapo looking stuff (or cheaper, anyway) was like $25-30. Guess I need to brush up on my shopping skills some.

Thanks again, '74!! You've been a great help!

Hey, '74!

Thank you again for the great info! My apologies for not replying sooner (between, work, kids and everything else, I have not been on line much lately).

From your great info, I was able to figure out that I tested my switch incorrectly, and I think it actually should work OK. (unfortunately, I was in limbo so long, that I now have to deal with a dead battery.)

Anyway, thank you again! Very much appreciated help!
