'75 K5 build AKA -10 Below Blazer

That drivers side one doesn't look any better than mine, but that passenger side one looks almost perfect. (or are the pictures deceiving?) Any idea how much it'd be to ship the dash pad and door panels to 85282?
Pics are very deceiving on the door panels. The flash washes out how bad they both truly are. I'll have to see if I can find a box to ship the dash pad and PM ya what the price would be.

OK, thanks. I'd be interested in the door panels too, never hurts to have spares anyways.

That dash pad looks good!

The door panels are worth it for the wood and trim for sure. Like is said before Hard to find and parts are parts! :thumb:

Well tube bumpers traded away for clean front bumper and a truck tailgate that was solid and will clean up nice. I am searching for a box for the door panels and dash pad. The core support, inner and outer fenders were all shot. I have some of the grill mount pieces salvageable along with the hood. I have the entire front off now and just about have the motor ready to pull. This thing is so easy to work on with the body out of the way.

yup, it's amazing how much easier everything is with the front clip off.

You're not kidding. Got the motor pulled tonight, having a tractor to use as a cherry picker worked wonders. The 350 is a bit tired but I think I'll keep it around as a core for a future project. My son was stoked to pull it out and my daughter was pissed because she didn't get to help. Also, I picked up a 1/2" Ridgid cordless impact. If you've never used one, it was worth every penny of the $130 compared to using my air tools. It's not that the air tools aren't great but this was so much nicer and much quieter than the rap of the air tools and listening to the compressor run.

Are these the factory motor mounts? They seem off kilter. And for the front cross member, do most people just cut off the rivets and bolt it back on after cleaning it up?

Tow truck Santa just dropped off a 2001 suburban at my house. I'm grabbed it because it's got a decent 5.3 and 4l60e for use by me :woot:. Also has the grey leather that I was looking for. The 3rd row is great and I can grab the floor section to use in the k5 so the seat stays recessed and removable. I'll have to recover the fronts but I don't see that as a huge problem. The whole thing delivered was a grand which if I'm patient I can probably make back.

Those mounts look factory to me.
The cross member most guys just leave alone unless they are changing it out for something else.
Not to say that you cant take it out and bolt it back in though if that's what you want to do.
