77 C20 hauler to crawler

So non-twin sticky...
Can I get pictures of the pivot point and how its mounted?

Think im gonna zerk mine the same...
No I didn't twin stick the 205. Maybe later in life! This is the best I can do on the pivot mount right now. It's nothing fancy and I should have lowered the pivot point about an inch. I have some floor mods to tackle now.

Got an email today saying my order was cancelled because the poly bushings for 56" springs have been discontinued.... so I gues I'm back to dropping $80.00 on rubber bushings. The joys of living in a small town!

Who did you try to order from?

Not sure what the deal is with them??? I found a set and got them ordered. Had to change the application and check the bushing size. Also ordered a new slave cylinder. :waytogo:

Sometimes my brain gets set on something and it screws me up. I was set on searching for 77 C20 bushings when I knew that there are plenty of other trucks that use the same springs.

If know how that can be!!

And now that dang @bent72 has my thoughts on Furd springs!

I emailed Kirk @ fitech with a question about vapor lock with the Fuel Command Center. Didn't take him long to respond which is definitely good.

My question
Hey Kirk I have a quick question about the fuel command center. I'm wanting a simple quick way to supply my EFI and considered using the command center. My only concern is vapor lock. Especially with it being a return less system. I do a lot of low speed rock crawling and sometimes the temperature outside is brutal. How does the command center work in high temp situations?

His reply
Hi

the pressure is only 5 or 6 psi, the FCC will perform well all the way up to the point where the fuel starts to boil.

Anything after the high pressure fuel pump, you will not have any vapor lock.

Keep the fuel command center from any major heat source, and keep it under 200°.

Anything else let me know
