77 C20 hauler to crawler

More food for thought on the FCC. Was reading on a classic Bronco site and a couple of guys installing FiTech were told not the use the FCC on rock crawlers. It uses a needle & seat with a float just like a Holley carb to regulate fuel level in the sump. So just like a carb, you could have fuel starvation issues in off-camber scenarios.

They were told this directly by FiTech people when they called in for guidance on what to purchase.

You would have to be in a bad situation for a long time to burn through a gallon of gas, which would probably empty an in tank sump setup also. I just remembered something that I saw that would be awesome... too bad it's stupid expensive

They also had that commercial about "shipping" things right?

The old man sitting in the bed says, "I just shipped the bed!"

Then another lady says, "I just shipped my pants!"

I'm not sure which of the other threads you're going to wind up in, but you're heading that direction fast. :doah:

I didn't say your short height. I said your short COMING. As in, you're becoming short, and soon you'll be the height of a midget. It's like Pinocchio's nose, but in reverse. The more you talk the shorter you get. :deal:
Don't say midget! @bent72 will hear you!

Gallon an hour average on my truck while offroad. But it is fairly efficient. Biggas motor probably use 1 gallon in 30-40 minutes depending on efficiency.

Feeding a FI system on a manual pump is just a failed idea.

So just a issue that mine has is the fuel gets nice and toasty returning to the tank and my vent leaks a bunch of fuel on hot days. Haven't figured out how to fix yet but keep that in mind. Not sure if yours has a return but....
