I saw that video once before comparing the exhaust sizes. No surprise on an engine making 600+ ponies.
When we ran drag cars, cars were quicker ET with 36" of pipe than open exhaust
And since that sounds like chit, I used Dynomax mufflers on all the cars
Point being, pipe size and length affects the torque curve

I'm interested to see what my 2wd auto floor will need. Trans tunnel should be fine...
With an auto you should be fine until you get to here... then you will have to do some mods but it won't be bad. Mine was 2wd auto so I had to make room for the NV4500 and the 203/205.
Need more time!!! The floor is done other than building a cover to go around the shift tower and a boot for the 203/205 levers. It definitely hasn't turned out exactly like I wanted it to but it'll work. My wife came out to help slather a coat of elastomeric roof coating on. I wasn't too sure about this idea but I haven't found any horror stories yet. It's ugly right now but it's fairly cheap and it'll be covered up. We will see how it works out! It's getting closer. Still a lot to do but now I'm seeing progress so it feels good.

Nice work the floor looks excellent! What kind of cover you found to do for the shift tower? Wouldn't a normal shifter boot cover it quite well?
Thanks! I am using a normal shift boot but I am leaving an access hole so I just need to build a cover for that.
