I know what you mean. I've been saying that for years now. Wifey asked a couple days back if we should be moving to Colorado. I didn't like that idea very much, but it shows that she's thinking in the right direction...

Yeah pretty much as soon as I moved here I was ready to leave. Douglas has never been a place I wanted to live. I didn’t even like this place when I was a kid, other than the drag strip but it’s gone now so there’s absolutely nothing here that I enjoy anymore. Add the mass amounts of cliques to that and you have yourself the butthole of Wyoming! I know every place has its problems but this entire area is a mess. I’m sure it sounds like I’m just whining, and some days I really have to stop and question myself but things happen here that leave me dumbfounded. The best way I can describe this town is it’s like being stuck in High School.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that location doesn't matter much in this regard. You'll encounter people problems anywhere you encounter people. And cliques? Please. High school problems are way smaller than adult problems, I'll take those any day of the week.

If you find a place where people don't have maturity problems, let me know.
 
I know guys that work out at the site in Idaho Falls man. Gotta have an in out there and I could get ya several. Idaho Falls greatest quality is the amount of awesome wheeling close by. But the wind blows all the time. Probably a really similar climate to where your at now

I loved the Idaho falls/eastern idaho area just the job was way better here and back by my wife's family now.
