Yeah, a 66 Fury III 2dr ht. Very original, and almost complete. The 318 poly is gone, but nobody is missing it. Dan is throwing in a 1968 383 with 727 torqeflite.

Really glad you made it down Rene’
You’re right about the Fury, I was seeing the potential as you were, and luckily for me the logistics of getting it home wouldn’t be feasible.
I do think you should persue the 496 engine though....
And the moonshot is exactly why I was taking video, but just quit too soon. Dammit!
Colby said oh Rene just dumped off his bike or something and all I caught was you getting up and chasing your quad down the hill. Glad you’re not to banged up!
The shooting was fun as always and the brisket dinner was awesomer.
As always a great time with the CK5’ers and Deans friends.
Til next time brothers....I’m headed home later today
I think I want to get the engine in the car and running before I do much of anything. It's hard to argue with 496 cubes though, and maybe that'll happen down the road a bit. In the meantime I can breath on the 383 a little and work on acquiring the parts needed to get it stroked later. Could be a cool Drag Week car...
I`m positive @ryoken owned a Furry VIP ...I remember Paul talking about his old cars he had a long time ago!?Yeah, a 66 Fury III 2dr ht. Very original, and almost complete. The 318 poly is gone, but nobody is missing it. Dan is throwing in a 1968 383 with 727 torqeflite.

yeah, I had a 68 VIP with a 318... big boat, but pretty good looking bodylines for what it was.... it was a grandma owned creampuff that I got for $400 and flogged the pee out of it... first head gaskets I ever did was that motor...Yeah, a 66 Fury III 2dr ht. The one thing that could make that Camaro tolerable is if the flames were suddenly real.![]()
Actually it could be OKIsh.Yeah, I'm sure it could...I'm not a pony car guy of any flavor. I always disliked them, some more than others. This particular one doesn't do a thing for me. I will say Dan sanding off those horrible flames is a big improvement...
Next time i’m over there.... Just for you Brian!Damn it. We need pictures of these cars!

Original paint car, with one little "whiskey dent" on the passenger front corner. Super solid, floors are great. the rear quarters and part of the trunk needs some patching, but nothing terrible. Aside from the missing 318 poly it's complete, even has keys. Comes with a '68 383/727 with later model intake, carb and dist. allegedly ran well.
66 Fury III VIP 2 dr hard top.
The Camaro with the ugly flames is next to it.
YepThat's the good looking fury years....
