This is amazing man, you and ryoken impress and depress me to no end. Now i'm going to go out and sit in my pos and make vroom vroom noises.... lol

The Trooper is a great pic, and now I got it stuck in my head... still one of my favorite Maiden songs.

The blazer body you got looks like it`s in good shape, not to rusty.
And your drivetrain is like art.:waytogo: Good job Zim!

Its pretty good for what I want to use it for...it has Chinawanese metal panels all over it, that don't fit for crap, and someone did a fine job of putting the quarters on it too. But it will get used, and beat, and dented, and who knows??? I knew that going into the buy of it. The floorboards have been replaced with some sheetmetal at one time, some welded in, some screws, some pop rivets....its no Virgin by any means.

I love "The Trooper", I was just thinking "The Number Of The Beast" went better with the use of

and

Martin

That's cool Martin, I just personally like the Trooper:

Appreciate the comments Stump, but trust me Paul, and Greg are on a whole nother level...they're in the 1%'er group AFAIC.

by far the coolest cover they had...

may be my fave album from them too.....

Ryoken - saw AC/DC with Bon, and saw Paul Di anno with Maiden when they opened for Priest at the Paladium in NY...

keep killing it Dave!

ZIM---Jaw drops to the floor....too cool Paul!
coolest concert I ever went to was Deep Purple with Ian Gillian and Aerosmith in their heydey of the toxic twins in the 70's....I can still see them through the smoke!
Funnest concert I ever went to was Silverchair/VanHalen....I had a staring role in that one!

Should also find a way to incorporate Eddie into my build somehow....ideas?

other than the dudes I went to see the Highway To Hell tour with, I've never met anyone since that has seen Bon... nothing against Brian Johnson, but I dig Bon's stuff WAY more...

I was glad when Maiden got Bruce, much better singer... man I got f*cked up that night at the Paladium! almost fell off the balcony... :doah: :haha:

never seen Purple or VH... either would have been VERY cool... never saw Rush either...

saw Priest a dozen times, AC about 10, Nuge a 1/2 dozen, Queen, Aerosmith, etc, etc.. probably did about 50 shows before I was 20... Meadowlands, Spectrum and the Garden where all very convenient...

wish I could be at the meet and greet, should be fun with lots of progress... :D

oh, and Eddie..... sure, great art... maybe that cover art airbrushed somewhere.. either suttle, maybe off to the side of the tailgate, or brash and full on the hood!

I still got the Tshirt from that tour, LOL, I might even have the ticket stub too.

I`ve seen IRON MAIDEN a few times.:saweet:And all the heavy bands of the good old days. I still hate country! YUCK!!

EDDY for sure has to be on the blazer somewere.

FULL SIZE PIC ON THE HOOD!

Has to be a front tilt hood then or youll never see him. I like the one side of the tailgate thing. eddies the s**t:thumb:

Bon I think was the making of AC/DC....it was the standard...Brian is ok in my book, but its like replacing David Lee Roth with Sammy....just not quite the same, and VH turned pussy when they first played with Sammy...

It would be cool to have you at the build and greet too Paul, I'm sure we'll get plenty done in the week Eric is here....can't wait to get started!

Thats what I was waiting for!

AWESOME!!!:waytogo:

Will it fit out of the shop with the 38`s on it?

I have it in my attached garage in that pic Max, its on 31" stockers, and I don't think it will clear the door as is, I think I can unhook my garage door opener, and push the door up a couple inches, that might do it, if not a little air out of the tires, and pull it with the JD....getting it in the shop again will have to get more creative, as that door is 6" less opening than the attached garage.....hmmm take off the tires, and see what we can do then?

I remember somebody on here had a set of sacrificial 16.5" rims they used to get their truck in and out of their garage. Used just the rims and it worked.

Thats too bad.. you might have to get tires like SBD`s got on his blazer.:D

Anyways it`s looking tits, and the body should be perfect for some bad ass fun.

Looking forward to build week pics!

I do have a spare pair of 16" without tires, and I could have a couple more dismounted if I can't figure something else out, it doesn't move on its own yet, so thats a problem.
