It did fire up pretty easy when he started it for me, it had been sitting for more than a couple months without being fired too.

yeah if the wheels weren't off the back of it it would drive around too :doah:, but as we figured out they wont fit on a broke dodge :haha:

I was actually going to say I need to go help him put the back wheels and tires back on:doah:

Of course you would have to take out the ummmmmm (junk) stuff you have piled in the cab

I know it seems I'm too far away from everything....

Interested:D

Yeah for a tow rig a 2WD model might be better actually. It could ride better, with better mileage. Lower it a couple inches, it would look killer. The only downside is you couldn't use it to tow your rig back from the trail if it ever broke severely. But I think if you are wheeling that hardcore you'll have buddies with anyway. I'm not a huge diesel fan, but for a tow rig, a Dmax swap in a 2WD 3+3 would be the sh!t!

Ignore this thread for a couple weeks at your peril. :doah: :D

Tell us more about the bender. How do you like it, how much did it run - you know, a full blown review. :ears: :thumb:

ITs a Speedway special, and I can't really compare it to anything else, because its the only one I've ever used, but it is predictable with a learning curve. Eric used it, so he may be able to compare to others better than I.
It seems to handle 1.75/.120 DOM fine, will do only 90* though...maybe a bit more.
I paid 400 for the bender and 1.75 die set, and 300 for the other 2 die sets. 1.5 and 1.25.
I was looking for a cheap easy bender, and it exceeds that expectation.
The only problem with it so far has been a bent bolt that holds that front tubing loop to the die. I put in a grade 8 and its been fine.

If that bolt bent again its the second time. I replaced it while doing the cage ties because it broke in the middle of a bend. I had to straighten the U clamp also. It bent great other than that. an air over hydraulic bottle jack would be a great addition though.

NO that's the same bolt I was referring too. The grade 8's are holding it in place fine.

Thats cool. it bent pretty good though.
Its kinda sad:doah:I got about $750-800 in my model 32 from JD2, had it for a year and I've already bent more on your bender than my own. And I only made 2 bends with it:haha:

Only a 2" and a 3/4" the bender was $295 then the 2" die set was $350 i think. the 3/4" was only like $85 though. They are 180* dies too. but its not hydraulic either.
