Templets look good. I bet Kert will work his magic on them.

Dave made it to the shop yesterday around noonish. Helped out around the shop for a while and then we started in on a few projects.

I'll post up some pics after a while.

So, how do these wheels work?

OK, I got it now.

Can you make a drop bracket from your engine crossmember and then go back from it for a skid? That way the skid is frame mounted all the way and the drivetrain is still isolated.

Matt, we looked under Kerts Blazer more before cutting the belly plate, and decided to go with a crossmember fabed for my frame/header conglomeration and mount to that...it will isolate a skid plate from any drivetrain components and be totally frame mounted...we made it in 2 pieces to conserve on steel. The belly plate has some cool touches as well as being a very functional piece.
The gas tank turned out totally bitchin like what I had in mind, and is a sweet piece too, thanks to Kerts ability to turn my cardboard templates into reality. Kert put in a lot of time on the CAD to get them to turn out like I wanted.
The wheels are kickass too, really diggin' em. A few other goodies too!!!!
Stay tuned picwhores!

Great looking skids! I can't wait to see them installed.

Kert, check the vendor section.

Kert that stuff looks great.
Zimm those parts are going to look awesome on Maiden

these parts really did turn out great...a big thanks to Kert for his time in figuring out my templates....took some brainwork and experience with the CAD program to get what I had in mind, but he nailed it.
I'll get started prepping the wheels, skids, hydro assist and tube doors as soon as I get my 99's autotrac 4wd problem figured out:

Its my daily driver so I gotta get it fixed asap.

Its true Jess, maybe the humidity will drop, or the temp. I think the frost is gone though.

People are out in the fields here. This has been the mildest winter I have ever remembered. It was great!
