You are getting too fancy. Where are all the zip tie mods????

Can't wait to see the maiden. She never disappoints me :pimp:
Me either...I love my Rat!

That's pretty much what you had before a little low but very runnable. I.E. perfect.

Time to let the big block eat
Thanks Eric

As long as this Rat dont eat anymore parts!

Hope to make some worthwhile!

Foking w a new master cyl tonight and I cant get a good pedal
Had two bleeders plugged up but got a good gravity bleed on all 4 corners
Back at it in the am!

Hopefully you don't have the same problem I had. Bad remaned master. I bench bled it like 6 times could ever get a good pedal. Went and got another one and fixed my issues. I think you were even there for that.. Lol

luckily it was an overlook on my part...

The m/c is from something like a 78 C30 (I'd have to search the thread to find the app)...big bore m/c and it works great with 4 wheel discs (when I have a good one)
The issue is the hydroboost is from a 83 K5 diesel...small front disc/rear drum setup, so we had to make a pushrod extension sleeve to go between the m/c and the hydro pushrod. I forgot to take that extension sleeve out of the old one and put it in the new one...duh!:doah:

So with that in place its got a good pedal with just a gravity bleed on the system!

the pics show the sleeve and the difference between the length of the hydroboost pushrod and the master cylinder piston bore.
The measurement on the allen wrench is about 1.75" from end of the m/c piston bore to the mounting flange, the sleeve is 1.5" and the pushrod is set back in the hydroboost bore about .5"...so after about .25" travel the pushrod is moving the piston.
The 4th pic is the m/c with the sleeve installed.

I had that issue with my kids K5. had to make a small rod extension for it. took me FOREVER to find it though:doah: kept wondering why I had NO pedal after pressure bleeding an entire gallon through it:rolleyes:

wish I could make it to one of these get together's again..... I STILL haven't rode in the maiden:confused: been fircken hectic and tight around here for a LONG time though

Catching it in a running state is the hard part!

LOL.. about like my burb then:haha: I was about to ask last time and then the tranny decided part ways with it's self:doah: one of these days it'll happen:waytogo: Gotta make a dune party yet or something

Sidewalls are all shiny....he pimped it up the hill and with every throttle of the skinny peddle romping the block to one side even gave it that pimp walk I'll bet!:pimp:

:haha:The little wheeler (3 year old) made me play that video (the forward shot version) on the big screen 5 times.:saweet:

Good times. Thank you for coming out to play:thumb:
