One of very few benifits of being a parts guy. Cheaper parts delivered to me. :)

New clutch kit, flywheel, and flywheel bolts.

Looking at them, the hookers do have thicker tubes and flange. I wonder if i would rather have that or ball and socket flange?

I've had zero issues with the standard flanges with aluminum gaskets and lock washers on the nuts.

What headers do you have Adam?

The thickness of the metal was a selling point for me also. I forgot about it until it was mentioned here.

Free ones are what I have... They are 3/4 length ones. No idea who makes em

I have those Dynomax Blackjack headers and they started leaking after a couple of years with the paper collector gaskets, so I swapped to the aluminum ones and they haven't leaked since. The flange is 5/16" also.

Just be advised that the black paint will only last a little while. They will rust up eventually. I'm sure you already knew that though.

Yeah I know.

HINZ28 is trying to tell me to paint the firewall before I put the engine back in, but that's a lot of work.

And it won't make it wheel any better. I know you like pretty trucks. You have one week.

While I agree and do the same, I can definitely appreciate someone who does it the other way. I would say this might be the prettiest wheeling rig on this sight.

Thank you, Sir's!

It looks so small in there...

This is the old engine and bell housing. Kinda hard to see, but it only had 3 of the 6 bolts holding it together when we pulled it out :eek1:. The 3 on the left side were out and one of the bolts had fallen down and was stuck in the grease. You can see it if you look hard enough haha. That kind of explains part of the reason it was such a bitch to drive.

Got rid of the rust bucket. Before anyone freaks out, I took the tailgate and all the good parts off besides a door and fender. I sold it to the scrap yard and they unloaded it with a fork instead of the crane to save those couple good parts off it, and they must've thought there was other good stuff but I can assure you there wasn't. There was a hole in the floor big enough for my to stick my head through.
