This truck looks great. What did you decide on the wheel well? I thought it looked good with you computer image.

I bought a long bed conplete and am going to cut the skins off the out side and race car fastener dzuts fastener them on to correct the wheel opening on the out side and combine the 2 inner wheel wells to make one large inner one. Also hoping i can patch the long bed floor together to make my new floor or atlest the center section.

Got a little jump on the rear quarters friend came over started bull ****ting and the grinders and sawzall came out.
(Donor longbed )Started to unbolt the longbed man way easier than i thought i was planing on cuting everything apart but it all unbolted super easy. So we got one Bed side completly off and the other is almost ready aswell.
(Sub) Cut the quarter out and all the remaining wheel tub i was going to stretch the original and weld in the longbed wheel tub. Once everything was apart its going to be easier to remove all stock wheel tub and bolt in the longbed one recentered over the axle. The longbed tubs are bigger and wider then the sub ones so thay are going to work out really well.
Well enough talk here are the pics.

The wheel wells did actually go up about and inch or so.
The truck inner whell wells are alot larger and wider than the suburban and the wheel opening looks to be alrger also. Here are a few pics of todays progress.

Was really trying to get stuff done did not take a ton of pics i got the pass off gas filler moved resloted the inside for the gas filler tube since the gas tank was moved rear ward.Got pass truck panel marked out ready for cut and the driver is completly mounted i added more dzus 9 total i think. Also rounded edges and cleaned up the cuts. The factory inner well bolts to the outside panel like stock replacment panels should be easy in the future if severe damage occurs. Hope to have all this done tommorow including the floor leaving on my trip thur morn.
The tire came out really nice in the wheel well and clearane should not be an issue and i got rid of more rust a win win.

dude, matt, looks like you're making hardcore progress. its funny what people can get done when they have a deadline. i hope everything works out on schedule for you.

Well a little late but been busy made the trip got the back buttoned up i duct taped the gaps for now to seal out the exhaust and it worked awsome. I still need to make the boots for the shocks to floor.

All this work was done with hand tool's angle grinder drill so forth NO WELDING was involved at all for swap or anything. The floor is all bolted in aswell and can be removed in sections for future work. I reall like the way it cam out and is really functional.

nice work. For the fenders, are you going to just leave them riveted in or are you going to weld the seam and smooth it out?

Im leaving them dzuts fastner on (not rivits) so if damage occours or future work need's to be done i can take them off in 5 min i can pull all the quarters and floor out in a half hour to do what ever work i need to back there.
