79 Blazer Smash 2.0

79 Blazer with a few modifications
Yeah I’m building it strong enough to crumple in and keep some shape. Lots of work here but really it’s going to be used and I can’t be a crybaby over it.

lots of work is an understatement, keep it up and we'll hit the trail this spring.

for a rolling wire shelf unit and turned it into a mobile workbench. Used it for the first time today and it’s very usable. Think I will use it for a while so I stuck some led lights on it. It worked good as a welding table also.

Ok switched all the lighting in the shop to LED and what a difference. Made a little more progress on the frontend by closing in the other side of the fender. Added a little more structure to the firewall side of the fender and made a UHMW wear pad so I don’t have metal on metal rubbing and rattling together.

What is that car in the shop, looks like Italian?

When somebody asks me where I got a certain part (that is a custom fabricated 1-off), I always say "Wal-Mart". I think it's just that Jeep guys can buy any accessory they want.
