79 k30 front axle?

The perch is there it is on the other side. Look closely at the first 2 pics of the front axle. It looks like a chevy 60 set up to run on the drivers side.:thinking::dunno:

I see something now but it still doesn't look right. Those pics leave a lot to be desired. A pic of the front/steering setup would help.
 
It's an oddball D44 :rolleyes:. Can't say origonal application,but it's sure not a D60 cause it don't have a pearch on the pumpkin and it is balljoint. GM D44 would be pass drop obviously and it's not a HP D44 Ford. I'd guess it's a 76/77 D44 from an F250.
 
Looks like it could be from a pre-77 1/2 ton Ford, they have welded on Cs and not too hard to remove. But it's low pinion, which would mean 3/4, but all the 3/4 tons I've seen have the spring pad cast into the housing, don't see one on either side. What looks like a perch on the inside is the mount for the steering stabalizer....One odd ball axle....and not a 60...
