79 K5 H-Bomb build

Seems really tall to me.

I run 2" lift 52's in front with Ferd f150 57's in the rear with an ez inch and it sits pretty even unloaded.

What year Ford for the 57s? What bushings do ya run to make them fit?

... most of the yards around here are pretty picked over and I'm having a hard time sourcing stock 56s.

93-96 F150 IIRC. I don't remember the exact year but it was somewhere in that range.

The bushings were in good shape so I left them.

Couple other guys run these springs @Deuling and @Avery4jc

Got rear 56s ordered. Started getting the front brakes on. 20 ton press vs brake rotor/wheel studs.

Rotor lost:

I assume you were supporting the rotor where the pads ride on it?

No problem with this one...

here is another example of the previous owner's idea of a "recently rebuilt front end"... over the years and various builds I've learned to check.

Getting close to wrapping up the front end... got some goodies coming tomorrow.

I just read @Kay86K5's build and now I'm having fantasies about 44" boggers.

44" boggers usually has that effect on people :smokin2:....you should see them in person on the truck....gives me a woody every time :cool1:

I'm having fantasies about your shop....I'm hoping in the next year or so I can get on property and build me one.

Love your rig man...so clean...it's gonna look sick!
