79 Pickup build-Update 11/22 w/ lots of pics

I cut out the entire metal dash except for about 1" from the windshield. I built my own frame out of 1x1" square tubing.

That may be a route that I take. I was going to reweld all the plugs but the piece of mind would be nice. The saving grace to all this is that its just the motivation I need to cut and weld the knuckles to account for the steering angle and driveline angle.

Thats today. I ordered front inner axle seals, found a sway bar for her and got the front driveshaft at the shop. Now all I need is a 208 shifter and to put it all together. The four wheel drive will be in business! its only been 6 years
