8 Low

Ya know what is awesome? Not mud! Only stayed at Tuttle about 3.5 hours. Had a good time. It rained the whole time we were there. Truck worked great. Clamp on the tie rod for the ram assist slipped & rotated some. nearly found the bottom of my shocks, "better get thoes bumps on!" Got so much mud packed in my wheels & brakes that I was hearing growling noises & was getting nervous so we packed it in earlier than I wanted. Met some nice enough people there. Can't wait to go back when it's dry!!! Did not do much picture taking in the downpouring rain!

I think I am going to put a temp gauge on my steering system. Seemed like it got really hot. Also felt like it may have faded but I'm not sure when & how much that clamp was slipping. Really to tell you the truth I'm disappointed in the hydro assist. May be I need to look it all over but I don't feel like it performs like I thought it would. At low RPM's it is so slow.

Did you do any pump modifications?

I was wrong. The clamp did not move at all. It just rotated a little with the movement of the joints & covered in mud it looked weird.

Man after checking out Tuttle the idea of some exterior protection seems more appealing. Making the exterior of a square any larger than it already is seems silly though.....

& this is an AR200 skid plate. AR200 is all my metal shop had on hand. We will see how it works. Spent all of tonight cleaning from my Late night Tuttle thrash & working on my SuperDuty. Lowered my SuperDuty 2.5" & put on some new shocks & fresh oil. Level 5 is wrighting me a new tune that locks out 5th gear while in tow/haul mode. My little rubber band 5.4 does not like towing the Burb. I'll go back down in tire size this next time around too.
