Too late the tires are already half on. They actually cleaned up really well, I was able to scrub off most of the rust staining on the dirtier wheel. The others washed up great. If I keep these wheels they will get weld on bead locks and painted at the same time. If I dont keep them, they will get sold for recentered H1s
 
I never lost a bead running those back in the day...single digit wheeling all the time.
 
Looks good. Need to get rid of that tan Mopar stripe though lol. And that rear bumper looks like it hangs way out there now with the bob job done.

Looks cool, and awkward at the same time. Cool because of increased functionality, awkward from a proportion standpoint.

The whole truck is going to be painted that satin dark taupe color next summer. The bumper was a fail, just didnt work out like I thought it would. Ill just have to DIY one sooner than I had originally panned

I dont like spacers. Needed 2" ones to clear the H1s and I still had the rubber run flats in there. good spacers are not cheap and cheap spacers are not good. I love the H1s and I'm still on the fence. I may still order a set of re-centered ones and PVC inserts to ditch the run flat. I plan on staying with surplus tires for as long as I can since I have a local source. so 16.5s will stay for the foreseeable future

The bumper didnt work out like I had planned. When I make my own it will look a lot better. The bed looks proportionate to me, just not that bumper
 
Have you noticed a difference in power after ditching the H1’s?

The LS was never really down on power so I haven't noticed that. The brakes are noticeably better though. They weren't bad before, but are just better now without 150lb wheel/tires on each corner. Without those runflats in the tires they are a bit smoother, even without being balanced. My air soft BBs for balancing should show up today so Ill break the bead and pour them in later.

you might be able to get them through the valve core. I've never done it however I've seen videos where people do it....

No, Air soft BBs are way to big for that. I would have to remove the vlave stem from the wheel to make it work. Purpose designed balancing media is it usually works for though, that stuff is made to be small enough to fit.

They are the same as any other dynamic balancing media. I read of people who have used lead shot, golf balls, anti freeze, regular BBs, dyna beads. With using Airsoft BBs you really need to pay attention to the quality. Cheaper ones will break apart and turn to dust eventually. Higher quality ones last a long time. I generally use .38G BBs. It takes about 750 of them to make the 10oz I start with in a 37" tire

Missed the air-soft part, thought it was just BB's.

Just make sure you don't use the organic air soft BB's, they fall apart.
