My guys handled that pretty well. Was gone this past Monday as well and it was biz as usual when I returned on Tuesday. Got a pretty damn good crew these days.

Is this a seasonal thing? The banishment of the white stuff brings out all sorts of vehicles, right?
I think its a combination of a few different things for us.
Snow goes away so some guys that were holding off, get to working on things.
Tax returns come in and guys spend that up on some purchase they previously couldn't justify.
Spring fever pushes some guys to take on new projects.

AND break S*** / upgrade said breakage![]()
Me too! What's the split shaft mod?
more commonly referred to as "Twin Stick". it thru me off at first too.

Got a little time in on the build here and there and got this accomplished,
We formed a piece of sheet metal and cut a notch for it to drop into and welded all the way around on both sides. Being careful not to warp anything very much. This allows the inner fender well to be a bit more complete and keep debris out of the engine bay. Still need to come up with a decent way to go around the shock absorber. Thinkin' some kind of rubber boot.
From Truckaholics build:

Very much what I had in mind however, my boot goes through the inner fender on two different planes.
McMaster sell rubber mat that would work for what you want. The stuff I have used is about 1/8" thick and conforms real well.
