You can let the nitrogen out but why? Still wouldn't want to weld right next to the shock so the "shock stunt man" is a better way to go.

Same purpose as one directly over the center just less in the way.
Vintage air unit is on its way. Unfortunatley I'm gona have to switch out the condenser for their unit. Tech guy said a factory one would not be efficient at all. Theirs has tanks on the side and passes the refrigerant through the condenser twice it sounds like. Something like that.
At any rate, the new one should sit exactly where the old one sits as a direct replacement.
One I have an AC evaporator in hand I can get serious about some of the interior.

You'll like it. You can mount the unit anywhere. The hoses are pretty easy to fab, you just have to have someone with the correct dies crimp them. (Most HVAC places can do it)
Yep, i'll have to find somebody to do that. Don't know of anybody off the top of my head around here.
I got the universal line kit which allows me to mount the drier someplace other than to the front of the condenser and gives you more line in the kit.
I'm also using the Cummins AC compressor. The one I have does not have an aluminum manifold on the back. It has a #8 and #10 port. Exactly what the compressor they supply with their kit so I didn't need to purchase the compressor.
Cool, we're hoping to do one of those Vintage Air on our truck here in the near future. After a Vortec swap of course.

Vintage Air Im not too familar with....but If you want some info on a Vintage HOT Air setup..well I know some people that are full of that

There was also some other part numbers they recommended that I purchased as well but don't remember them off the top of my head. One was a universal AC hose kit. Got that one for the flexibility of dryer mounting positions.
One thing I'm liking about there is the fact that there is know cables or vacuum lines for the controls. Which means I can mount it just about anywhere. Right now I'm thinking i'll be building some kind of mini console for this truck. Manual trans so under the dash but forward of the shifter.

That is a belt of .223 blanks from a SAW. I believe used for training purposes with the miles gear. Like laser tag but with a lot more noise.
I don't even recall where I got that from, just keep it around for a decoration of sorts.

Yup...getting ready to head to Fort Polk to play laser tag with blanks here in the near term myself.
