80's short box, "S.E.R.E." Box permanently attached to the cab.

I think right now, the vote is for a bit of rubber sheeting fitted to the fender but hanging loose from the shock absorber. Like folkenheath suggested, a seal is not really needed. Simply a way to cut down on the amount of debris going through the hole.

The tube clearance being directly behind/above the tire, I think the seal there was more critical.

Planning a skirt on the inner fender well near the frame much like the factory had as well.

Fender wells are in. Got a plan for the shroud around the shocks but no real need to work on it right now. I'll get back to that a little later.

Both front shocks mounted up and a plan for securing the resevoirs. Something that may become a product at some point.

Radiator shroud and fan are finally mounted.

Tossed a hood on it but need to do make a bit of clearance where the engine cage flanges are at the firewall. Figured it'd be tight there. I can take some off of the flanges or a bit off the hood or a combination of the two.

I'll try to grab some pics tomorrow.

Still looking for LED headlights for the quad light setup. Got one coming for experimentation but might be a touch on the big side.

A shot of the pass side fender and inner fender well and proposed mounting location for the shock res.

radiator, fan and shroud. Kinda tough to see much. Engine bay is pretty full.

A shot showing the space between the fan and the belts.

that is getting pretty full... what did you figure out for the intake ducting/filter placement?

Any concern about the heat from the engine bay affecting the reservoir for the shock?

I don't think the resevoirs will get hot enough there for it to make any difference. Time will tell.

Air intake... Got an idea that I'm sure will work, just a bit outside my wheel house to really pull it off clean. Guess I'm gona have to challenge myself a bit.

I would still like to be able to pull off a fender intake or rear corner hood scoop reversed for cowl induction.

Got some stuff going on with the grill and headlights/turn signals and such but waiting for some LED's to be delivered..

In the meantime, working on the Tcase some more. This is a shot of the shift cable "transfer bar"? Not sure what you call it. Basically makes it possible to attach a cable to the rail and not be directly behind the adapter.

Looking for a particular brand of light, I've seen them and worked with them but don't know where to find them.

6" oval LED amber light. The one I've seen was grommet mounted but could be a flange mount as well.

The ones I'm looking for, the entire light was potted. Had black, red and white wires coming out of the potting material. These were physically much heavier than the cheap ones that have the female half of a plug with included pigtail.

If you know of the ones I'm referring to, please post up.

Moved some more sheet metal and set the tcase in place. Trans cross member that we were thinking would need to be completely re-fabbed isn't looking to bad.

Very impressive!!

You do some cool fab work Mister.
Love all the attention to details.

Doesn't Grote make those?

Their website shows the lights available with female pins or even male pins as well.

Yep, seen them on Grote but thinking they aren't the ones where the whole light is potted. I think i'll just grab a set of the Grote lights and keep moving forward.

they are a little bit bigger and deeper than the factory headlights. As close as I have been able to find.

Likin' those. Who makes them and where did you get them from? Are they DOT approved or offroad only?
