Picked up my 6.0 lq4 from pac fab. Great guys btw. Never seen so much badassness under one roof.
Turns out I need to move motor back 1". Had to do some trimming and massageing (bfh) on firewall. Going to try to make the sbc Ord xmember I got work.thinking about just welding it to frame instead of makeing access holes to get to bolts.

Got some work done
Getting there turns out motor needed to be moved back a little more then a inch. Should be good now, I'll be useing some grade 8 washers too. And got the 205 rear output houseing ready to ship to Ord to be machined for vss.

Anybody know if there's a longer oil filter that will work on a 07-09 6.0?
Got the 6.0 running great. New tsl 39.5's too. Waiting on CV rear drive shaft and couldn't get the tachometer to work. Tried multiple pull-up resistors. Ended up sending back to pacfab to check the signal strength. Hopefully will get it all back soon!
Looks good, you cleaned that wiring up nice too. How's flagstaff right now? Net you guys got the nice temps..

So far what I learned about gen 4 ls motors are....they are big p.i.t.a unless your an experienced tuner or have a shop near by with experience....truck falls on its face at 4k, cpu thinks it's doing 158mph in park, throwing a code basically saying throttle body doesn't know how to handle load. Also maff sensor. It might have a vacuum leak but the idle isn't consistent already and spraying starting fluid around intake it doesn't change much. Fuel pressure is a consistent 56-58 psi even at wot.

been running great! Got a wireing gremlin, that only shows when I flex it hard. Im going to rewire entire truck. Keeps going into limp mode, with no throttle response, just idles. Thows a power train code. Here's a video of a little trip I just went on
