Been way to hot here lately to do anything but I've been able to do a little hear and there. Last weekend I was able to get a lot done everything but weld the new spring perches on and install the new tie-rod I ordered which should be hear today.

Since I tore it apart to do the swap Ive install a new set of 6in springs pulled the old 8in out. Installed new bushings in the frame and DIY4X shackles what a difference there is from the stock ones. Installed a junk yard two wheel drive box and xj shaft with NWF crossover. In the rear I pulled the 2in block out and am just running my shackle flip right now probably gonna need a set of zero rates gotta get it out of the garage and get the tires and wheels on befoer I figure that out. Also installed DIY4X spring perches and u bolt plates.

I got a few pics of some random stuff but will get pics of all the goodies tomorrow the wife and kid will be gone most the day some im gonna get it knocked out and finished up tired of this thing sitting in my garage.
Just a pic I took at work one day to show how hot it has been.

Found the easy way to get the shafts out of a xj hard to see the shaft because of the shadow but most the jeep was gone and it was only bolted to the column. Also I found about ten of the shafts.

Well I was able to get it done today for the most part. Tuesday im gonna go up to a local 4x4 shop that has some ramps so I can measure for my shocks I was able to use the old 8in shocks for the front as a temp but the rears are way to long. Also when my tie-rod stuff came in there was some issues with it but its been taken care of so just waiting on that for now. The rear is definitely way to low so its gotta come up and I think my right rear spring has just about had it sagging way low in that corner.

Also has anyone ever had problem getting the grease fitting to start threading Ive tried 5 different fittings and cant get any to start.
Now on to some pics
First time out of the garage in over three months.

H1s and 38in boggers installed I know it looks low in the rear but its only about a inch lower in the rear if you use the tape.

It looks like someone had a anti wrap bar on that 14 bolt, also dana 60s seem to raise the front by 1 inch, my truck sagged in the front and when I put the 60 in, the truck sits level now.

Thats where the shock mounts in the cucv trucks just haven't cut it off yet and filp it to the other side cause I don't have shocks yet.

huh i never knew cucv has diffrent mount locations. Man I learn something new everyday, hell i learn something new every hour on this site.

Went and got some lunch and diff fluid took the truck for a drive around the neighborhood wow what a difference the crossover, xj shaft, and gears make its like a whole different truck now. I cant wait to get the shocks on it its a bit soft in the rear without them and get it tag and inspected again.

Also found a load of dirt somebody dump on a dead end in the neighborhood so i took some poser pics.

Awesome update bro.:waytogo:

Sometimes I get grease fittings that are drilled but not tapped. I tried a few different sizes & nothing worked, ...then I took a closer look. :doah:

gettin there. Trying to spend less time web wheelin and more time wrenching this time around. Should have an update later in the week.

flex pics

Took the blazer up to a local shop to measure for some shocks blazer did pretty good. The tires are pretty torn up but didnt really have much vibes from that I gotta replace my orings in my wheels so when I do that I think Ill try the airsoft bbs to balance them. Heres some pics I took with my cell phone while I was up there. The front is gonna need some 10 in travel shocks and the sme for the rear.

Looks like you might need to trim the front fenders a little. Whose shop is that?

Soft top

Picked up a used softtopper from chalet it was a little bent up from the rollover but was easy to fix just a quick photo. Planning on going out next weekend should have some good pics after that.

Looks good. Looks a whole lot like my old K5. Same camo paint with 1 tons and 39.5" IROKS. Gotta see if I can find some pics
