83 Blazer Build

so i finally got my lil s15 blazer up and running so im back to hunting parts for my 78, question though, a guy a work bought a 77 dually 2wd, and only wanted the engine out of it. i know the 4wd ones came with a dana60 up front but do the 2wd in that year have the 60 also or was it ifs? i need to know soon and i might get it for free! please help

damn, anyone in need of a th400/? combo in it? or the rear 14bolt? can get for free and hang on to em if needed.

so, i have been looking for some new rims to get the 37" military tires to put on. have a question on the h2 wheels. what size are they and do i need wheel spacers to fit them or will they bolt right on?

Hopefully I'm reading/following you correctly. The military H1 tires are 16.5" rims the H2 rims are 17". I don't believe you need spacers with the H2 rims but if you use h1 rims you will need spacers or dually hubs on your front 60. Unless you get recentered h1 rims.

changed out my front brake lines with the ones i got from ORD a yr or so ago. changed the oil and fixed a couple leaks. can hopefully take it to my friends shop and get the bed off so i can do my fuel tank change/rear shock inboarding

decided to stay with my 35"s for now untill i come across more funds. family wants to go to d-land so thats where my money is gonna go. Other then that i installed a 4wd shifter. and finished mounting my bucket seats / vinyl floor in. can hopefully get the bed off in a couple weeks and remove the saddlebag tanks and install my donor blazer tank/ rear shock inboarders.

Back from disneyland and weather is finally getting warmer. Got some progress done.

went to install skid plate with 2nd crossmember. 2nd member wont work as the frame slopes up and doenst give it a flat surface to mount on. should i use spacers? or do i not have the correct 2nd member to mount it on. 203 t-case. anyone have pics of the 2 crossmember setup?

front spring plates and new u-bolts installed, thanks diy4x fit perfect. just took me a few months to get to it. installing customized xj shaft tomm since my steering column is too old and splined. more pics to come.
