nice fitment job . . . . the key to fitment with min filler is the work before welding on .
page 3 starts my cab corner work on 2wheel burn . . . if you wana see the steps .Thanks for the tip. I need all the help I can get, especially with body filler, lol.

Thanks and thanks. It isn't anything fancy I know. Just experimenting and trying to learn how to do it more than anything. Now that it is painted it is easier to see things that I could have done better. But for what this truck is, it will be fine. The front panel of the bed is painted now too. So, the bed is back on. Might start putting doors/fenders back on, and hooking up the gas tank/taillights if there is enough time tomorrow. In any case, it is nice to have the rockers behind me. It almost looks respectable again, lol.Looks much gooder!
To continue along in theme with the "whatever" build, I gave body work a try. Going with the two tone treatment to keep it simple.

I am going to have to look into that headlight harness deal for my 91 V3500 3+3. It looks like you went for the Halogen insert lamps instead of the stock Halogen sealed beam lights. The Halogen sealed beam headlights will probably be discontinued one day anyway.
This where my time has gone. Putting the other crew cab together so it runs and drives. Pushing the crew cab was a real PITA, lol.Not much happening on the crew cab shorty, but, my 87 AZ crew cab has made great strides. Probably should start a thread on it. Ended up with an 89 crew cab parts truck and took the engine, tranny, tcase, harness, steering column, and pedals into it. Pretty sweet. I'll start a thread when I get some pics.
